Christmas Show at DGBD (Dec23)

This is the show at Club Drug. To tell you the truth I can not remember anything that remarkable from the night except for all the great bands that played, being pulled on stage when Spiky Brats played, running out of battery so I had to kidnap Jonathan's camera (Thanks again, Jonathan) and kill his battery too, and the auction at the end of my night. I did not stay all night. So I will get on with the pictures and will warn you that there is a shit load of pictures so if you have a slow connection it will take awhile. First up on my list was Dirty Small Town. http://www.dirtysmalltown.com/mainframe.htm They are one of my faves.

Next up is Cockrasher. http://skunklabel.com/cockrasher/main.html I am enjoying them more and more every time I see them. They are finally having their CD release on Saturday so if you are in the area it would be worth dropping by Skunk for.

Grant was really happy to see his friend.

Who could ever be disappointed with Guk-do. http://ba.oro.to/ Full of energy that they collapse at the end of their set. I think they are amazing!!

This is another of my favorites. Rux http://skunklabel.com/rux/ . I felt bad for Hong-jee because he was sick but luckly it did not effect his performance for the night.

Another of my favorites, The Couch, http://cafe.daum.net/thecouch . Pogo till you fucken die!!! Heehee. Amber you will understand!! heehee.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jooing's girlfriend. Nice girl!! He was a very happy man the whole night. Actually both night I saw him be had a perment grin on his face.

Another favorite, Patients, http://www.patients.wo.to/ . Enjoy we are half way here...heehee. These guys and girls rock!!

Next up was Doopy Dolls, this was the first time I listened to them and really I don't remember anything except how they dressed.

Someone was happy with their food. Yah everyone was famished at that time. Pizza good!! Now its time to walk around and just start taking pictures of everyone..heehee.

Now its time for the Spikey Brats, I have no link so if anyone has it I would be much obliged. This was the first time I got to hear them and I must say they rock. The members were able to play because they were on leave with the army for Christmas vacation. I can not wait until the next break so I will be able to see them again. I will be looking for a demo of these guys!! This was the point were I get pulled on stage and not knowing the music I wanted to take pictures. Loo and behold both my batteries are dead. Jonathan was on the upper landing so I flagged him over and stole his camera until the battery died. Everyone was soo happy to be able to see them play. The stage was a hodge podge of the punk scene. Everyone singing, everyone playing and everyone enjoying themselves.

Tired out boys. The Couch and Dirty Small Town could not keep up with the ruckus. Heehee. Pleasent dreams boys!!

That was the end of the music part of the night. I must say it was a good night!!! Next up was the auctions and I must say that all the participants were amazing to be able to get up there and be auctioned for 20 cents. I know that I was not able to and was happy when Amber came through the door to rescue me from all the push and prauding towards the stage..Heehee. Who knows if I would have gotten up there if I have not stayed.

Sorry this took so long and I know that you will probably get bored just scrolling down this huge update but it was a pleasure to have been a part of this and I will be enjoying it all the more in this new year!!
