Pictures in the Life of Diane: One Unity at Going Merry and Random Pictures(March 24-25)

To start off the afternoon Hyun, Fabrice and I went out to eat at this vegetarian restaurant. Coming out of the restaurant we ran into this lovely picture. Which I took for you Dunbar..heehee.

After eating and bumming around we headed off to Daejeon to get ready for the show.

This was my first time going to Daejeon. Yah we would have gotten lost if one of the members of "The Great Van" did not come and met up with us. This place is not easy to find. I was not able to come to this show at first but luckly I was able to make it. I love going to show outside of Seoul. Its a nice change. Don't worry I love my Hongdae hide outs to go for long. Rest assured!! This is where the show was at: Going Merry. Not a bad place. I was suprised that the majority of the people (like 90%) were foreigners. This was a first for me. It felt weird..haha.

I find these two trouble makers outside when we got there. Yah doesn't it look like I caught them at something..heehee.

The first band was "The Great Van" but I have no pictures. Spend my time outside with the trouble makers.

Second band to play was "The Rule Destroys". I was still outside.

This was there first show with the new drummer, Min-Ku. It was a hard first show because there was no monitors and it was hard to hear anything. But they still played a great set.

Here is Mike the video taker. I will be posting some of the videos at the end of the post. It was his first time seeing them play and he was impressed with the band.

The crowd were suprised to hear them at first. They were expecting something that sounded similar to Ruler Destroys and The Great Van. By the second song they were crowded in front of the stage. There was a few who were dancing to.

Here is Hyun's friend, Fabrice. He came all the way from Paris to see him play. Talk about a fan!! Great guy! It was nice to have met him. You need to come back and see 99Anger again and to see 13Steps play. He was one happy camper and he had a permanent grin the whole time.

Closing band for the night was Suck Stuff. What can I saw that I have not said before. I love these guys. It was a great set and they were a crowd pleaser!! http://www.myspace.com/suckstuff. Come check out the music.

Here is a cute couple swing dancing after the show. I had more pictures but I had a memory problem and had to do a bit of deleting. Hyun and a couple of people went out to eat after the show. We were hungry!!! When we came back Dokyo was a bit sauced...heehee. I never seen him this drunk and it was hilarious!! He was playing soccer on the PS2.

Then Dokyo and Min-Ku played phoos-ball. This was hilarious too. I was laughing the whole night. It was fun! I had a great time. Then it was back to home for some more drinking then me quickly falling asleep.
